Coconut residue dryer can quickly dry coconut residue with a moisture content of 30%-45% to a finished product moisture content below 18%. The equipment uses wood, straw, fruit shell waste (or coal, natural gas, diesel) as energy, generates hot air by utilizing various wet materials, and carries out the drying process through instantaneous high temperature. The main unit adopts electromagnetic or frequency conversion control motor speed, and is equipped with an automatic temperature control device to ensure that the fiber color, strength and flexibility of the dried product are good.
After desalination and dehydration, coconut coir with 50-60% moisture content is sent into a dryer for fluidized drying. Inside the dryer, the coconut coir is continuously lifted and dropped by flip plates, moving forward in a spiral manner. The coconut coir passes sequentially through the inner layer, middle layer, and outer layer of the dryer, undergoing heat exchange with hot air during this process. The dried coconut coir is quickly carried out by the airflow, while the wet coconut coir cannot move quickly due to its own weight. The coconut coir is thoroughly dried inside the dryer, with the moisture content reduced to 14-18% (adjustable according to customer requirements). After drying is complete, the coconut coir is discharged via a screw conveyor. The dryer is equipped with special devices to prevent uneven drying of the coconut coir.
