The bentonite dryer is mainly used for the drying of various types of clay mud such as bentonite, kaolin, aluminum, and iron clay, and solves some problems of sticking, crushing, and drying. Dingli Group successfully launched the bentonite dryer according to this development direction.
Bentonite dryer is mainly composed of hot air furnace, belt feeder, rotary dryer, belt discharge, exhaust fan, cyclone dust collector, bag dust collector (or wet dust collector) and operation control system. The equipment adopts the concurrent drying process, and its working principle is as follows: After wet materials enter the drying rotary drum, they are divided into the following working areas: First is the feeding area. After the slag enters this area, it comes into contact with high-temperature hot air, and water evaporates rapidly. When the material is on the guide plate at a large inclination angle, it is guided to the next working area. Second is the lifting area. The slag is lifted by the lifting plates to form a material curtain. At this time, the material comes into full contact with the hot air, the water in the slag evaporates and precipitates as water vapor, which is sucked away by the exhaust fan, thus realizing the drying of the slag. The slag in this area is dried into a loose state with a moisture content below 5%. After the material exchanges heat and reaches the required moisture content, it enters the final discharge area. Third is the discharge area. There are no lifting plates in this area of the rotary drum, and the material rolls and slides to the discharge port here, completing the entire drying process.
